 Where do you download the fonts?

 > Right, the fonts are not installed ( /usr/share/fonts ). On F8 I have
 the following fonts packages installed (if my infos are correct there have
 been a splitting of fonts packages for F8). Those seem sufficient to
 display those fonts right on the XO as well.
