Comment:

 As of update.1 690, vmware_drv is in joyride, but ''not in update.1''.

 vmware_drv is required to test the xo's own X server at 1200x900 in
 emulation.

 Without vmware_drv, one must either:
  use a mutant screen size::
    burdening automated testing and making it less valuable, or
  use a remote X server::
    which doesn't test real fonts or security, and has other issues, or
  add it as part of testing.::


 Consider two strawman positions:
  1. "Testing is important to us."
  1. "Let's remove vmware_drv to save 42 kb!"

 1 and 2 seem incompatible.

 A counter argument: I seem to be the only person interested in such
 automated testing, and I have spent little time on it over the last month
 or two in light of that.  So the payoff of adding it may not be large.

 Retagging enhancement -> defect, and requesting retriage.
