 The espeak binary uses /dev/dsp by default, but this is missing.  To
 fix provide /dev/dsp in the /dev tree as this works. I was able to use
 espeak after running './MAKEDEV dsp' in /dev as root.

 Bear in mind that trawling through large config files in the absence of
 concise documentation is unhelpful to low vision users. It is also
 better if defaults always work.
