Comment(by cscott):

 a) immediately symlink /usr/bin/become_root to /bin/su

 b) as time permits, fix documentation which requires root to include
 'sudo' in the commandline, or 'su' as a separate command.  (Either works,
 no need to be religious.)

 c) as time permits, implement one of the suggestions in comment:4 to fix
 the UI for terminal

 d) write a proper activity for 'sugar-control-panel' which will perform an
 appropriate su itself where necessary; that's the only proper way to make
 control panel activities discoverable.
