 Because unshifted minus is at the top of the key with the underscore at
 the bottom.
 So unshift == minus while shift == underscore.
 But the key to the left is mapped: unshift == point and shift is
 semicolon.

 All the keys are like, shift produces the character printed at the top of
 the key while unshift produces
 the bottom character.
 That's why I regard the mapping for the minus/underscore to be reverted.
