G1G1. I have assigned a password both to root and to olpc.

From my experience with Linux distributions, 'sudo' is supposed to ask for
the password of the issuing user. On joyride for quite a while (and
currently 1628), 'sudo' goes ahead and executes the provided command
*without* asking for the issuer's password.

On joyride a while ago (1611?), issuing 'su' (no parameters) would ask for
the root password. On 1628, 'su' goes into root *without* asking for the
 root password.
