 Future timestamps are not indicative that something is wrong with the
 system.  They are an expected outcome of time synchronization and other
 normal events.  However, usually you will catch up to 'future' time
 relatively quickly (a few hours), so I don't see the log mesages as a huge
 problem.  However, unless we're actually planning to *do something* with
 the log messages, why write them?
