 In the update.1 candidates, one often can't log in on vt 1 after switching
 from sugar.  (The screen displays 'invalid filter 1' and nothing happens
 when you press enter.)  This is a potential update.1 blocker because the
 dev key request instructions explicitly specify that you press ctrl-alt-
 mesh and log in on vt 1.
