 In using Q2D11 it appears what I call the steady state problem is
 corrected.  The steady state is the process when the system is completely
 booted into Sugar and then you press and hold a game key down and then run
 a finger across the touchpad the pointer and in some cases Sugar would
 hang resulting in a reboot.

 The problem now is that during the boot process and pressing and holding a
 game key down characters are displayed on the screen intermixed with the
 boot kernel messages but Sugar appears to come up but the pointer does not
 move and the Sugar is hung but I was able to get into the terminal
 console.

 Please note this is reproducible on Update.1 and also on XP as well.  I
 asked that they verify the updated EC code and they are stilling seeing EC
 hangs as they did before.
