 Went to Control Panel, ran 'Software Update'.  It indicated a number of
 Activities that needed updating.  Unselected a couple, told 'Software
 Update' to go ahead with the rest.  It downloaded and processed the marked
 Activities in its list.  Exited Control Panel.

 Rebooted.  Went to Control Panel, ran 'Software Update'.  It indicated ALL
 the same Activities as needing updating as the first time -- that first
 run had NOT recorded the Activities it processed.

 [My guess is that the interface to the Activites Registry has changed for
 F10, and that 'Software Update' has trouble using the new interface.]
