COMMENT: There are times (e.g., "under a tree") when I would like to
disable listening for signals from Wifi Access Points (which have network-
wide IP addresses, and are often connected to the internet), but maintain
(e.g., listen on) a mesh channel (where signal originators have mesh-
 specific IP addresses).

Currently, the Control Panel's "Radio" checkbox will turn off both kinds
of over-the-air listening. I like the idea proposed in the #9145
descriptions of "turn off and power down the radio merely by hitting
Disable or Disconnect on the Frame icons for the Wifi and the Mesh". If
such a control capability is not implemented in Frame, there ought to be
TWO checkboxes in Control Panel (for "Mesh over-the-Radio" and for "Wifi
over-the-Radio") in place of the single "Radio" checkbox that is there
 now.
