 Tried to launch Record (2007 G1G1).  As soon as the Activity View screen
 (i.e., Toolbar, etc.) started showing, it disappeared.

 --------

 On a different XO, Record launched once - but kept showing me a gray panel
 instead of the camera picture.  [However, clicking on the button caused a
 correct snapshot to be stored.]  But when I tried launching Record again
 on that XO, it gave the same "X Window System error" as here.
