 Before shutting down the XO that had the frozen activity, I decided to
 check `ps` to see if the activity's process was still around. The
 activity's associated sugar-activity process was no longer there. It seems
 that the activity quit successfully, but it still appeared in the GUI as
 frozen. Hope this helps.
