 Do we have record of the characters which are appearing? Is there a chance
 that the keys are adjacent to the zoom keys, and either triggered
 inadvertently when pressing the button, or by a faulty keyboard (similar
 to the sticky alt key)? Does it occur on many machines, or on a select
 few?  In any case, if at least the characters that appeared were
 repeatable, even if the test isn't, that could give us a small lead.

 I've never seen this in my own testing, but naturally that's only with
 half a dozen machines and not nearly as many test hours as QA.  Still. it
 might be machine specific, or at least quite infrequent bug.
