 On an XO running the 8.2.1 release candidate in question...

  1. Use the graphical sugar-control-panel UI to set your language to es.
  1. Perform the Nand-full test specified at
 http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Tests/Journal/Nand-full.
  1. Verify that the "your journal is full" message is properly translated
 ("Su diario está vacío"). If so, the test passes.
