#8256: corruption of images pasted from Browse activity
 Reporter: paulwaite | Owner: uwog
     Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: normal | Milestone: Not Triaged
Component: write-activity (abiword) | Version: not specified
 Keywords: 8.2-757 | Next_action: never set
 Verified: 0 | Blockedby:

 - start a Write activity
 - start a Browse activity
 - browse Images
 - got to any category, find an image, right-click and Copy Image
 - if you hit the Frame key you can see the image icon at bottom-left,
hover over it and select Keep
 - go back to Write, select Image, and click on the Insert option, then
 pick it from the list
 - image gets inserted in the document but is corrupted, ie. only top-half
of the image appears, with the rest black.

This happened multiple times, and I also replicated it after a reboot.

Note that if I try this with an image found using Firefox, everything
seemed to be ok. So possibly it is a case of the image type(s) available
from sources used by the Browse activity? Firefox images were jpegs, but
I'm not sure what type(s) the ones I picked from Browse were.
