Comment:

 Just reproduced this.  I think it's a firmware bug!  The power light
 indeed never goes out, but the kernel thinks we suspended.  And even if
 echo 1 > wakeup_events/ps2event, the keyboard doesn't work for wakeup but
 the power button does.

 It's the first reboot after I upgraded to q2e14.  I haven't tested whether
 it happens on subsequent reboots, because I want to be able to show
 Richard the failing state.  The laptop is labeled "X93" and on my desk.
