 A sans-serif smart open font called Andika Basic designed for legibility
 and to address literacy needs is available under the Open Font License.

 It is already packaged by the Fedora Font SIG:
 http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/SIL_Andika_fonts

 The Unicode coverage includes extended Latin and IPA characters. Greater
 coverage will be available in future release but this font is already very
 useful as such:

 {{{
 Alphabetic Presentation Forms: 2/80 (2.50%)
 Basic Latin: 95/128 (74.22%)
 Combining Diacritical Marks: 20/112 (17.86%)
 Currency Symbols: 1/48 (2.08%)
 General Punctuation: 17/112 (15.18%)
 Geometric Shapes: 2/96 (2.08%)
 Greek and Coptic: 2/144 (1.39%)
 IPA Extensions: 20/96 (20.83%)
 Latin Extended Additional: 216/256 (84.38%)
 Latin Extended-A: 91/128 (71.09%)
 Latin Extended-B: 85/208 (40.87%)
 Latin Extended-C: 3/32 (9.38%)
 Latin Extended-D: 4/224 (1.79%)
 Latin-1 Supplement: 96/128 (75.00%)
 Letterlike Symbols: 2/80 (2.50%)
 Mathematical Operators: 14/256 (5.47%)
 Private Use Area: 18/6400 (0.28%)

 }}}

 I successfully tested it with build 708.

 It would be very good if we added it to the current build.
