   Was there anything in particular that didn't work ? With Firefox on
 another Fedora 9 machine it works just fine for me. I'll update my beta 4
 machine to joyride and test, right now it's running the last stable
 release.

   Just as a note, the Gnash plugin merely does a fork & exec, and starts a
 standalone Gnash player by passing it the XID of the browser window to
 draw in. So gnash itself isn't linked into the browser as most plugins
 are, and rarely should effect the browser at all.
