 Well I tried.  I'm not sure if the attached files encompass the test case,
 because I ran ohmd AFTER each test.

 $ ohmd --verbose --no-daemon
 }}}
 exits within about two seconds with error messages that don't show up in
 the log file when I run
 {{{
 $ ohmd --verbose --no-daemon > ohmd--verbose--no-daemon.log
 }}}
 which exits cleanly.

 So I'm not sure if this gives you what you need.

 I will also attach a copy/saved Terminal output stream.
 All this was done as user olpc (not as root).
