Comment:

 I'll close this as a duplicate of #8108 (since that is the earlier
 ticket).

 Whatever the problem is, some recent Joyride shutdowns freeze with text
 console output showing (and a question asking whether cerebro should be
 closed), and other recent Joyride shutdowns (often when an explicit
 'shutdown' command was issued from root) freeze with the "don't do this"
 screen showing.
