 When I'm not using my XO, just letting it sit with Browse on its home
 page:

 With "Advanced Power Management" checkmarked in joyride-2301, the
 backlight always stays on (but dimmed by autosuspend), until the battery
 dies (about 8.5 hours).

 With no power management at all, or with "Extreme Power Management"
 checkmarked, the backlight does switch off totally, sometime within 30
 minutes (I don't know the exact timing).

 I recall that with official builds up to 708, the backlight also switched
 off within half an hour.

 Alternate description:  Screensaver does not work with Advanced Power
 Management.  (But I assume that an LCD with LED backlight does not need a
 screensaver except to save energy.)

 I have not yet tested with both APM and EPM checkmarked together.
