 Re-run your tests on a system with an EC serial port connected and with
 loglevel 9 and kern.log enabled.

 The EC code prints out the value whenever the mask is set or read and the
 kernel has the value of the mask parameter in the log.  You can see where
 the mask is corrupted or if its just not properly re-set after a resume
 from auto-suspend.
