 I had a datastore entry titled 'DEF'. You can see its metadata entry in
 the attached sugar profile directory. As a result of one of the hardlocks
 I encountered (#8052, #7885), I performed several hard power cycles. After
 one of these hard power cycles, my journal stopped showing my 'DEF' entry.

 At present, it shows two entries ('Murgatron' and 'Sierpinsky') out of
 seven DS-objects+metadata files in the DS 'store' directory.

 Tentatively assigning this to the DS.

 Tested on 8.2.0-753.
