 I didn't see the failure when I tried with the above mask, although I
 didn't spend a lot of time trying to reproduce.  It may be the case that
 adding that much logging slows down any downloads sufficiently (the
 download wss <100KB/sec with the mask set) to avoid the necessary
 throughput for failure.
