 Might be related to #7494.

 As a work-around maybe try something like the following in Terminal:[[BR]]

 $ rm -rf  Activities/Browse.activity[[BR]]

 This should delete your old Browse so that there will be a clean void to
 install the newer Browse.

 There are so many builds around, please always indicate which one you are
 using.
