 Agreed with what Kim said about blocking.

 About fixing this particular bug, I see two possibilities:

  1. Best fix: immediately show the launcher splash screen after the first
 click is received.
  2. Interim, easier fix: don't process clicks on activity icons for
 100-500ms after the first click.
