Did you olpc-update to joyride-2301? I haven't seen this myself, so I'm
trying to find a way to reproduce it.
Yes, I did $ sudo olpc-update joyride-2301[[BR]]
from previous joyride-2263.
I saw the backlight go dark a few times this morning while surfing (Power
options both unchecked in sugar-control-panel). But now it is not
happening! Something has changed. Not correlated with AC adapter
connection as far as I can tell. I notice the bug when it happens, but it
takes me a while to notice when it is NOT happening, because then it is
not irritating.
Variables to test might include lid close/open history, rebooting history,
power management option selection history. Maybe there is an uninitialized
variable at some time.
