 It looks like this could be the cause of our "hang when trying to suspend"
 bug.  The machine that just exhibited this later tried to go into
 idlesuspend, and is now sitting totally hung with the power light on solid
 and the wireless lights out.  So it looks like this causes the loss of USB
 on a machine without suspend enabled, and a total hang on a machine with
 suspend enabled.
