Comment(by HoboPrimate):

 Can this phrase be more clearer in regards to what it means with "with
 your new software"?:
         * Message: "Update your activities to ensure compatibility with
 your new software"

 The activities are software as well. Plus, this new software could either
 be a new version of the OLPC OS, or a new version of the Sugar Environment
 (when installed on other computers).

 There should be a way to create a general word that encompasses both. What
 about just calling apples as apples:
         * "Update your activities to ensure compatibility with your new
 version of the Sugar Environment".

 This of course would mean that kids should in some way be exposed to the
 concept of a "Sugar Environment". Perhaps during boot, there could exist a
 phrase underneath the clockwise XO animation, which said "Sugar
 Environment 0.8.2". The version number is optional of course, but would
 help a lot in diagnosticating problems, when the kid is asked which
 version of sugar he has.
