 One sanity test to do is to run with kernel.i586
 0:2.6.25-20080810.1.olpc.0bc186239fb1afa as this is before I committed a
 kernel config change to enable the group scheduler to help alleviate the
 issues with TamTam in #7603. If there is some subtle racyness in the
 driver, it is possible we may trigger that via this change. We should rule
 this out as one of the variables.
