 We have an open feature request for "don't suspend when a USB keyboard or
 ethernet adaptor is plugged in", which would be a workaround.  It's not
 ready for code writing yet, though.

 I think we need kernel work for this.  I want to know what's crashing and
 whether anything else might crash in the same way.
