 Please remember that when the XO suspends, it DROPS POWER on all USB
 devices.  [That is why one cannot wake it from an USB keyboard or an USB
 mouse -- they have no power.]  It has been my experience that when USB
 power is restored after the 'suspend', the USB dongle takes so long to
 "get up to speed" that the XO has by then "given up" and concluded --
 'there *is* no USB dongle' !!
