 The contention window adaptation would get affected only when you change
 non-mesh neighbors (APs, ad-hoc STAs) beacon interval from their default
 100ms to some other value. In general, this is of very limited use as you
 will hardly encounter a deployment scenario where a mesh point is
 surrounded by lots of APs/adhoc STAs emitting beacons. You can confirm
 with bcn_control API.

 Thank you! I am being overly cautious. Now there is no doubt that it's
 ready to be implemented. It is just a matter of defining the best way to
 do such.
