 Thanks for the code.  I've pushed it to sugar git.

 I forgot to mention that you should add a test case like this when you add
 the r+ (or before :)) :

 Reveal the frame, ensure the volume is non-zero, and click the speaker
 icon.  It should become muted (turn white) and volume should be muted.

 Hide the frame, change the volume with the keyboard, and reveal the frame.
 The speaker icon should be unmuted.  Hide the frame, reduce the volume all
 the way down to zero, and reveal the frame.  The speaker icon should be
 muted.  Click on it, and the speaker icon should become unmuted (but the
 volume will remain at zero, which is correct).
