 Using the joyride-2263 devel-ext3 image booted from USB.
 The list of actvities is fetched OK and presented. When clicking install
 the updater UI hangs on the first download (Analyze).
 It seems the updater cannot create the temp file in /home/olpc.
 See attached excerpt from /home/olpc/.sugar/default/logs/shell.log.
 Rainbow/isolation interference ????
