 In joyride 2257 and 2258, opening the 'list' view of activities and then
 returning to the 'favorites' view of activities results in a grey screen
 that can't be removed except by restarting Sugar. The list view and Frame
 are still usable.

 The drop-down menu to access the control panel also appears in the top-
 left corner of the screen instead of near the mouse cursor.

 The XOs these problems were encountered on were registered to a
 schoolserver before being updated to 2257/2258 with olpc-update.

 The attached shell.log file seems to indicate that both problems may be
 caused by Sugar trying to attach the "register" option to the drop-down
 menu and failing to do so as the laptop is already registered.
