 After manually using "loadkeys es" the keymap is better but still doesn't
 match the XO Spanish keyboard. Here's a quick list of more obvious miss-
 matches:

 { (shift [) generates a strange star like character (not *)
 [ generates a +
 ] generates a ç (c with a 5 shape like accent below)
 } (shift ]) generates an uppercase Ç (as above)

 ~ generates {
 ^ (alt-gr 5) has no visible effect
 \ (alt-gr 7) generates }
 degree (small floating o) generates [
 > has no visible effect
 < has no visible effect
 (alt gr 4) generates a ~ but should be unassigned
 (alt gr 8) generates a [ but should be unassigned
 (alt gr 9) generates a ] but should be unassigned
 (alt gr 0) generates a } but should be unassigned
