 Ticket #6889 says that Gabble ought to be retried every 310 seconds while
 Salut is running.  After half an hour, there had still not been a log
 created for gabble.  [Dump was taken earlier - nothing pertinent changed
 in the system since then.]  G1G1.  Joyride, manually updated to 2253
 level.
