 > mikus, what build are you running? I didn't see this behaviour on 642,
 656, 702, 703 or 708... but do see on joyride-2230. --HH.

At my house, each time I first boot ANY new build, I immediately use the
ethernet to download additional modules. Meaning that ethernet has worked
for me for EVERY build I ever had.

[Since I have no wireless, and no Access Points where I live, I have not
checked on whether "Access Points" are being "ignored".] So far, when I
go to an establishment that provides a wireless "Access Point" (but no
ethernet), I've always been able to connect. So I have nothing in my
experience to relate to when you use the phrase "this behavior". Note
that I do NOT have a 'school server'.

I normally install the newest Joyride build every three days or so. The
only one on which I stayed for a while was 2056 (I was waiting for f9 to
 settle down). Don't recall 2230, but have lately run 2224, 2228, 2232,
 2237, 2240, 2246.
