 This went into joyride-2245, and the network mesh view promptly broke.
 joyride-2243 works, joyride-2245 (with just olpc-utils changed) doesn't.

 Anyone want to venture a guess why changing the controlling tty of X
 breaks the network?  One hypothesis: dbus access control is breaking, and
 it's ConsoleKit's fault?
