 mtd: yes, I've been looking at this all afternoon, it is because we're
 starting rainbow with --daemon.  If we do this, upstart doesn't realise
 that rainbow started correctly and doesn't keep track of it.  If we don't
 do this, upstart keeps track of it fine, but /sbin/start rainbow doesn't
 exit properly from the command line (although it doesn't seem like an
 issue on startup).  I've build a new rpm that should stop multiple
 rainbows from spawning, and includes the fix for #7763:
