Regarding 'invalid' -- the reason I opened this ticket was that on Tue, 15
Apr 2008 20:32:12 +0200, Morgan Collett wrote to the devel list:
<<A very quick test for which one is running is: "ps ax |grep telepathy"
... If it shows both gabble and salut, also log a ticket
 against presence-service with presenceservice.log.>>

Well, I saw both gabble and salut, so I wrote the ticket.

 --------

Given that you did not like this ticket written against the
nejabber.homelinux.org server, I am reopening the ticket because I now
have seen both gabble and salut running in my XO, with
 olpc.collabora.co.uk specified as the server.

The scenario was: (1) proxy not up; boot XO. (2) bring up proxy; do
ctl-alt-erase on XO. (3) 'ps ax | grep telepathy' on XO shows both salut
and gabble. (4) 'olpc-netlog' on XO
