#6898: wired connection through proxy - salut and gabble are both running
------------------------------+---------------------------------------------
Reporter: mikus | Owner: Collabora
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: low | Milestone: Never Assigned
Component: presence-service | Version:
Keywords: | Verified: 0
Blocking: | Blockedby:
------------------------------+---------------------------------------------
Scenario:
1) :
'sugar-control-panel -s jabber olpc.collabora.co.uk';
reboot
[user-icons show up in Neighborhood view -- everything o.k.]
2) :
'sugar-control-panel -s nejabber.homelinux.org'
[this server is listed under "Community Jabber Servers" in the wiki];
ctl-alt-erase
Once Sugar comes up and stabilizes, 'ps ax | grep telepathy' shows that
both salut and jabber are running.
What happens is that the XO does not receive back the expected packet when
it sends out the 'CONNECT' packet to the server.
----
192.168.1.6 is the OLPC [[BR]]
192.168.1.1 is the proxy (and the nameserver 'daina.lauva.com')
