#6877: Ring view / List view split in the new interface breaks expected behavior

 With the new split between the ring interface and the list interface in
 the new interface, problems arise. I prefer to use the ring, as it is more
 intuitive and friendly, but sometimes I need to open an activity in the
 list view. After I do so, the button on the frame and the keyboard that
 normally takes me to the ring (the one with the icon on it that looks like
 the ring) takes me to the list. To get back to where I was, there's
 another action to take to get out. This introduces frustration and
 confusion.

 Perhaps the list could go away after something has been selected from it?
 Maybe there's another solution.
