Old description:

New description:

 dbus-python synchronous (blocking) calls have had a timeout measured in
 seconds since at least 0.80 (using seconds is more conventional in Python,
 e.g. in the select module, even though pygobject tends to use
 milliseconds). 3000 seconds seems unreasonably long, I assume you meant 3
 seconds :-)

Comment(by jg):

 What's the effect of this one? It isn't clear what the urgency of this
 patch is. It's certainly simple enough to put in Trial-3 if it will
 improve behavior.
