 Marco,

 First, thanks very much for trying this.

 In the next planned release of Rainbow (0.6.6), I've fixed the basic
 breakage due to the missing StringIO import and I also corrected the path
 to sugar-activity-factory, which changed recently (not exactly sure when)
 from /usr/share/sugar/bin/... to /usr/bin/...

 Fixing these two problems allows one to actually create a container and to
 try to start an activity inside it; however, activity launch now fails for
 a more subtle reason involving an unforeseen interaction between sandboxed
 updates, our particular variant of the VServer patches, and activity
 containerization.

 I'm going to try to fix this interaction today.

 P.S. - Ivan, the rainbow/rainbow/util/process.py file became available in
 commit 7f3ce9f62b7dadfd8c6e087b9c06a06f6d0b9874
