 This basically amounts to the search key (#1941) with a pre-supplied
 filter.  If adding the default filter is hard, we could simply focus the
 search field in the Journal for now instead.

 This isn't an object chooser; it's literally focusing the Journal
 activity.  It's not allowing one to "open" a document from inside an
 activity; it's making it apparent that "open" really means "resume" from
 the Journal.
