reasonable; downloading should probably be implemented by wget, or some
such utility, and be a process separate from the browser.
I would love to use something other than mozilla for the downloads, as
that would make the developer's live much easier. The problem here is that
some downloads can only be initiated inside the web activity that the link
appeared in.
Can we execute wget in a replica of the environment in mozilla? We would
need to set cookies, POST data and resume the SSL session. Is this
possible at all?
