 To clarify:
 When I first shutdown the XO with the power button, I did it with the USB
 key inserted, but then removed it before turning it back on.

 On that first boot, inserting, waiting, and unmounting+removing the USB
 key did not seem to fix things right then and there.
 Still following tomeus suggestions on irc, I rebooted again with no USB
 key inserted, and it was fixed thereafter. I'm attaching the logs after
 this 2nd boot.


 P.S. - My usb pen doesn't have a led to show activity, so I couldn't tell
 when it was doing something.
